Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Subjects with good general health. (ASA\-I and ASA\-II).
- •Grade A and Grade B periodontists subjects. (According to Consensus report of workgroup 1 of the 2017 World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal And Peri\-Implant Diseases And Conditions.)6\.
- •The presence of 1 deep (PD \<5 mm; radiographic depth \> 3 mm {horizontal}) interproximal intraosseous periodontal defect.
- •Limited\-to\-no extension of the defect on the lingual or palatal side, more on the buccal side as assessed by a preoperative bone sounding.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patient\-related criteria:
- •a. Patients who had uncontrolled systemic diseases,
- •b. Patients using medications affecting periodontal status,
- •d. Pregnancy or lactating subjects.
- •2\. Tooth\-related criteria:
- •a. Patients with grade III mobility,
- •b. Teeth with furcation involvement, teeth with active caries, or other dental problems.
- •c. Patients with grade C periodontitis.
