Inclusion Criteria

Subjects with good general health. (ASA-I and ASA-II).

Grade A and Grade B periodontists subjects. (According to Consensus report of workgroup 1 of the 2017 World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal And Peri-Implant Diseases And Conditions.)6.

The presence of 1 deep (PD <5 mm; radiographic depth > 3 mm {horizontal}) interproximal intraosseous periodontal defect.

Limited-to-no extension of the defect on the lingual or palatal side, more on the buccal side as assessed by a preoperative bone sounding.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patient-related criteria:

a. Patients who had uncontrolled systemic diseases,

b. Patients using medications affecting periodontal status,

c. Smokers

d. Pregnancy or lactating subjects.

2. Tooth-related criteria:

a. Patients with grade III mobility,

b. Teeth with furcation involvement, teeth with active caries, or other dental problems.

c. Patients with grade C periodontitis.
