Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All groups:
  • •\-Age 18\-50 years
  • •Control Group:
  • •\-No current or previous symptoms of knee pain in patellar tendon or its insertion
  • •\-VISA score \> 80
  • •Symptomatic group:
  • •\-Current symptoms of knee pain in patellar tendon or its patellar or tibial insertion in connection with training and competition, in one knee.
  • •\-Symptoms for over three months to exclude acute inflammatory tendon problems and de novo partial ruptures.
  • •\-VISA score \< 80
  • •Previous symptoms group:

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Neurologic or neuromuscular disorder
  • •\- Other lower extremity injury or disease that might interfere with the measurements
