Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adults between 18 and 60 years of both sexes; availability and physical conditions to perform the tests and supervised physical exercises (control group and obese subjects submitted to physical exercise); availability to perform dietary restriction and physical inactivity (obese group submitted only to the restrictive diet) during the study period; inactive for at least 30 days (less than 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week); no restrictive diet in the last 30 days; no use of medications for weight loss or modulation of body composition for at least 3 months; stable weight at least 3 months
Exclusion Criteria
- •Individuals with or having a first\-degree history of cardiovascular diseas; hepatic impairmen; renal impairment; diabetes; thyroid disorders; menopausal women; pregnant women; nursing mothers; smokers; or in continuous use of any medications
