Inclusion Criteria

Diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (ACR diagnostic criteria)
Patients with first diagnosis of RA
Patients with established RA at change of therapy
Active disease defined as DAS28 > 3.2

Exclusion Criteria

Cardiovascular diseases
Other contraindications for exercise intervention

Determination of physical activity in patients with RA and <br>Measurement of possible changes in physical activity three months after new diagnosis or change in therapy at the start of the study, end of week 6 and end of week 12 (= end of study).<br><br>Survey of the relationship between physical activity in everyday life and the patients' well-being using routine questionnaires at the start and end of the study: <br>- SF-36 - Short From (36) health questionnaire<br>- HAQ - Health Assessment Questionnaire<br>- WOMAC - Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index<br><br>Study-specific questionnaire (start of study, end of week 6, end of study):<br>- IPAQ - International Physical Activity Questionnaire
