1. Systemically healthy patients aged over 20
2. Single tooth gap (premolar – premolar)
3. Site healed at least 2 months following tooth extraction (Type 3 or 4 placement)
4. Presence of buccal dehiscence defect at the time of implant placement.
1. Untreated periodontal disease
2. Uncontrolled systemic diseases
3. Patients undergoing head and neck radiation
4. Patients with systemic conditions and receiving medications affecting soft and hard tissue healing
5. Patients with alcoholism and drug addiction
6. Heavy smoking habit (= 10 cigarettes per day)
7. Pregnant patients
