Inclusion Criteria
?Age between 18-60 years.
?Either sex.
?American society of anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status class I or II.
?Patients scheduled for elective upper abdominal surgery under general anesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
?Patient refusal
?Emergent and urgent operations.
?History of allergy to any drugs of the study.
?Coagulation disorder.
?Infection at puncture site.
?Pregnancy.
?Chronic treatment with opioids or NSAIDS.
?Uncooperative patients.
