According to statistical resuls, there was significacnt improvement in fat percentage of inferior group after 8-weeks exercise. Even though the result of shoulder scratch was negative (i.e. deterioration), the strength of upper and lower limb showed positive enhancement after exercise participation. Especially, the grip strength of middle group, toe-grip strength of inferior group), and muscle strength of gluteus medius, which were associated with walking ability for elderly people, were enhanced by 8-weeks participation in functional exercises. There was no significant improvement in gait linear parameters after 8-weeks exercises. However, we could see the positive aspects of 8-weeks functional exercises for elderly people, indicating good stimulation of their walking abilities and health status.

Fifty elderly people aged 65 to 85 years were included in the study. Among them, some patients with geriatric diseases and musculoskeletal dysplasia complain, but those who can walk more than 20 meters without the aid of a brace, can communicate and understand and follow the instructions on the measurement items.
Those who had discomfort or pain in the body during the measurement were excluded from the subject or excluded from the results.
