简要总结

Aging is a natural phenomenon which is characterized by biological changes such as muscle mass and strength reduction, loss of mobility and balance and motor coordination impairment. Neurodynamic sliding technique is effective for improving pain, flexibility, muscle strength, and also balance. Neurodynamic interventions, termed as Neural Mobilization (NM) or Nerve Glide Stretches are active stretches in which the nervous system is made taut and then slack and are thought to decrease neural mechanosensitivity by providing movement that lead to changes in the neurodynamics and modification of sensation, and help to explain the observed increase in flexibility, also helps to restore the balance.

**OBJECTIVE:**To study the effect of neurodynamic sliding technique on hamstring flexibility and balance in elderly.

METHOD: 104 subjects who satisfied inclusion criteria were recruited in intervention group. Neurodynamic sliding technique was given. Outcome measures were assessed before, after intervention and follow up was taken after 2 days.
