Aims of the study is to examine the efficacy of combined 5:2 diet and multicomponent structured exercise (MSE) versus single interventions on body composition and metabolic parameters in older populations, while simultaneously evaluating intervention feasibility in this demographic.

Eligibility Criteria
- Ages
- 60 to — (—)
- Sex
- All
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age >=60 years
- •Body mass index >=25 kg/m^2, with waist circumference (WC) >80 cm for women, >90
- •cm for men.
- •Physically inactive
- •Weight stability (<5% fluctuation over previous 3 months)
Exclusion Criteria
- •Diagnosed serious cardiovascular or metabolic diseases
- •Medical contraindications to exercise participation
- •Current enrollment in other dietary intervention programs within the previous 90 days
- •Use of medications affecting metabolism or body weight
