Inclusion Criteria
1. Healthy individuals of either sex, aged 1 year and above living in the same community
2. Informed consent by the family head
3. No symptom of Influenza like illness (An acute respiratory infection with Fever > 38°C AND Cough) at the time of enrollment.
Exclusion Criteria
1. People with symptoms of Influenza like illness/ fever in last 10 days which include
2. An acute respiratory infection with Fever > 38°C AND Cough
3. Pregnant women and lactating mother
4. Child below age of 1 year.
5. Individuals taking other preventive medicines for Influenza like illness
6. Patients with malignancy, immunocompromised state, life threatening diseases, end stage diseases.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To assess and compare changes in incidence of influenza like illness assessed through active surveillance on weekly basis till 3 months between the groups.Timepoint: Incidence of influenza like illness will be recorded during 3 months time.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To assess the changes in intensity and <br/ ><br>duration of illness. <br/ ><br>2.To find the minimum effective dose.Timepoint: 1.Daily follow up till ILI episode ends. <br/ ><br>2.At end of study.
