简要总结

**BACKGROUND-**Taekwondo is a korean martial art sport that emphasises head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and quick kicking techniques. It also includes punching and kicking skills. An athlete must possess a variety of skills, including agility, strength, speed, balance, flexibility, coordination and stamina.Taekwondo is a dynamic activity inwhich the movements require a large ROM, especially in the lower limbs. Thus, the purpose of the study was to assess essential elements (dynamic balance, flexibility, agility and power) which will help to find the prevalence or its affection on musculoskeletal system and screening of musculoskeletal overuse injuries.

METHODOLOGY- The study employed a correlational design within the context of three Taekwondo academies, focusing on adolescents aged 13 to 18 years engaged in semi-professional Taekwondo practice. Data collection spanned a year, with a purposive sampling method yielding a sample size of 38 participants. According to Inclusion criteria the participants will be assessed for Dynamic Balance, agility, power, flexibility. Overuse injury was operationally defined as resulting from repetitive. microtrauma, and semi-professional players were characterized as competing without deriving primary income from Taekwondo.
