简要总结
The present study is being conducted to assess the prevalence of Noncommunicable diseases and its risk factors among women belonging to scheduledcastes across India.Its a cross sectional survey in which Women belonging toscheduled caste of age 18 years and above is being participated.The duration ofstudy will be 12 months with a total sample size of 1700(170/centre).Primaryoutcome of the study will be ‘Proportionof participants having clinical history of any non communicable disease(Cardiovascular diseases, Cancer, Chronic respiratory diseases, Diabetes etc.) inthe women of scheduled castes surveyed across India and ‘Association of habitof post prandial day sleeping (for more than 20 minutes at least three timesper week in last 3 months) and other related factors with incidence of NCDs inthe study population’.

- •i.All the women of age 18 years and above belonging to Scheduled Caste residing in the house surveyed in the selected colonies/areas.
- •ii.Willing to participate in the study.

- •Population other than Scheduled caste women.
