Patients who have confirmation of diagnosis of tuberculosis in the upper airways and digestive tract by one or more of the following methods: histopathology, direct examination, culture or PCR; are in attendance at the otorhinolaryngology clinic of INI / FIOCRUZ; consent to participate in the study by signing the consent form.
Patients younger than 18 years; have speech-language pathology at another institution; present chronic diseases that interfere with the otorhinolaryngological evaluation and / or speech-language therapy, such as head and neck neoplasias, stroke, Central Nervous System tumors, among others; patients with mental problems.

Name Time Method We hope to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of speech-language pathology strategies in the care of patients with infectious diseases of mucosal involvement, such as tuberculosis.

Name Time Method We hope that at the end of the drug treatment the patient presents the minimum of functional sequelae, allowing a social reinclusion in the shortest possible time and in the most appropriate way possible.
