Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation.
2. Age group of 18-70 years.
3.ASA grade I-III
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient refusal
2.Pregnant patients
3.Patient unable to co-operate with airway assessment (low GCS, Mental retardation)
4.Patient requiring rapid sequence intubation or fibreoptic tracheal intubation
5.Patient having upper airway pathologies (Maxillofacial fractures, tumours, prior surgery of head and neck)
