- Brief Summary
Langerhanscell histiocytosis is a clonal proliferative disorder of histiocytes characterizedby accumulation of CD1a + Langerhans cells in various organs. There is a scarcity of information regardingvarious cutaneous and histological presentations of this disease. Some studieshave indicated a prognostic role of few cutaneous and histological findings of Langerhanscell histiocytosis. Thus, this study will aim to describe the clinical andhistological findings of this condition and their correlation with frequencyand severity of systemic involvement.
