1. Patients willing for present treatment.
2. Age group between 18-70 years of either sex having diabetes mellitus.
3. Patients having moderate to good glycemic control (FBS < 220 mg/dl, PPBS < 300 mg/dl) with ongoing treatment
4. The patient with detectable ophthalmoscopic features of NPDR with or without visual disturbances
5. The patient presenting with signs and symptoms of NPDR with or without diabetic macular oedema [DME]
6. Patients of NPDR who have undergone modern medical management and Laser Photocoagulation therapy previously for the same but with persisting symptoms and/or signs are also included in the study.
1. Age less than 18 years and more than 70 years
2. Proliferative diabetic retinopathy
3. Contraindicated for Anjana and Basti
4. DR associated with pregnancy
5. Any media opacity hampering ophthalmoscopic examination like iridocyclitis, corneal opacity, mature cataract, etc.
6. Vision hampering other diseases like, glaucoma, ARMD etc.
7. Chronic debilitating diseases like HIV, Carcinoma etc.
