iteracy attainment is measured using Key Stage 2 literacy scores (from Standardised Attainment Tests at the end of Key Stage 2) from the National Pupil Database (NPD) in May 2018 for children in year 5 at the time of recruitment and May 2019 for children in year 4 at the time of recruitment.

Resilience is measured using subscales of the Student Resilience Survey, captured via a secure online survey platform (World App Key Survey) in September 2017 and June/July 2018<br> 3.
