入排标准
入选标准
- •Patients who will be admitted to the ICU and receiving propofol
- •sedation on mechanical ventilation will be included in the study.
排除标准
- •1. Patient care giver refusal or inability to give consent.
- •2. Patients on Neuromuscular Blocking drugs.
- •3. Patients being administered sedative drugs other than the prescribed regimens.
- •4. Patients having a history of stroke, coma, or head injury or any neurological impairment.
- •5. Patients with hypothermia (core temperature <36°C)
- •6. Patients with haemodynamic instability(Mean BP < 65 mm Hg)
- •7. Patients with an APACHE II score of 15 or more on admission.
- •8. Patients with primary hyperlipidemia
- •9. Patients with pancreatitis
- •10. Patients with a Known allergy to eggs or propofol at the time of enrolment.
