Inclusion Criteria

Observational Study

1. Individuals of Delhi (born and brought up), on the basis of age group (21-60 years),

irrespective of sex, caste, religion or socio-economic status.

2. The individuals who will be willing to give their consent.

Clinical Study

1. Individuals of Delhi (born and brought up), on the basis of age group (21-60 years),

irrespective of sex, caste, religion or socio-economic status.

2. Patients having cardinal signs and symptoms of Ekakushta (Aswedanam, Mahavasthu,

Matsya Shakala Upamam, Krishna Aruna varna)

3. Patients having PASI score upto 10.

4. Chronicity: upto1 year

5. The individuals who will be willing to give their consent

Exclusion Criteria

Observational Study

1. Individuals suffering from systemic disorders like diabetes mellitus, hypertension,

muscular dystrophy or any chronic illness.

2. Individuals who were diseased in past one month.

3. Individuals who neglect to co-operate during study.

4. Individuals having any addiction like chewing tobacco, smoking, alcohol consumption.

Clinical Study

1. Patient having diabetes mellitus, burn, wound, ulceration, Cancer, AIDS, TB, etc. and

other skin diseases like seborrheic dermatitis, lichen simplex chronicus, psoriatic arthritis

etc.

2. Pregnant and lactating women.

3. Patients with other systemic disease and secondary infection.
