Inclusion Criteria

  • •Gaining informed consent
  • •Adult patients undergoing mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Diagnosis of acute respiratory distress syndrome or pneumonia at intensive care unit (ICU) admission
  • •Existence of immunodeficiency and leukopenia
