Inclusion Criteria

Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria and confirmed by inspection as having Acute as well as Chronic Fissure in Ano.

Patient of either gender of age between 20- 60 years.

Patients of parikartika having systemic diseases like HTN and DM which are well under control by medication is also included.

Fissure in ano associated with first- and second-degree haemorrhoids are also included.

Pregnant and Lactating females are also included.

Exclusion Criteria

Fissure in Ano secondary to ulcerative colitis, chron’s diseases, syphilis, HIV, HbsAg, tuberculosis, Ca of rectum.

Fissure in ano associated with other ano rectal disorders like Third-degree and Fourth-degree Haemorrhoids, fistula in ano, Perianal Abcess are also excluded.
