- •Patients consenting for the study
- •Patients of ASA grade I & II.
- •Elective oncological surgery under general anesthesia.
- •Patients with only one attempt of intubation
排除标准
- •Patient not willing to give informed consent
- •History of difficult intubation
- •Any contra-indication to the use of nitrous oxide.
- •Limited neck movement and neck pain
- •Any alteration in nitrous concentration during surgery (signs of bronchospasm)
- •Tracheostomized patients
- •Anticipated difficult airway
