Inclusion Criteria
Fixed orthodontic treatment with Angle Class II division 1
good general health,
healthy periodontal tissues,
no radiographic evidence of periodontal bone loss
Exclusion Criteria
subjects who require extractions for initial alignment and leveling
Subjects with systemic diseases
Subjects on periodic prescription drugs affecting pain perception.
subjects with parafunctional habits

Name Time Method To evaluate and compare the pain intensity using visual analogue scale after the placement of orthodontic archwire at different time intervals on the experimental side and the placebo side.Timepoint: 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days after the placement of the archwire

Name Time Method to evaluate and compare the PGE2 levels in GCF at different time intervals on experimental side and placebo side <br/ ><br>to check any correlation between the PGE2 level and visual Analogue score in patients who may or may not be subjected to low level laser therapyTimepoint: before placement of archwire, after 24 hours and 7 days of orthodontic archwire placement.
