入选标准
- •Both genders; being assisted by the Public Health System (SUS); age between 20 and 55 years; deliver the signed Informed Consent; do not participate in any other regular physical exercise program; do not present untreated or poorly controlled clinical disorders that could interfere with the variables of the study, such as altered levels of the TSH and free T4 hormones, even when taking medication; do not present untreated or poorly controlled clinical disorders, such as arterial hypertension, heart disease, or any other disease that could offer risk to the participant when practicing high-intensity exercises.
排除标准
- •Any clinical complication during the intervention that influences the variables analyzed in this study or makes it impossible for the participant to continue the intervention and/or the evaluations, including orthopedic alterations or pain disorders; frequency in the HIIT program lower than 70% or absence from any evaluation performed in the study; use of appetite-suppressant medications; presence of diabetes; being menopausal, according to medical criteria.
