Inclusion Criteria
Previous 3D conformational radiotherapy for head and neck cancer; total radiotherapy dose from 50Gy to 70Gy; at least 18 years of age; able to undergo dental surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
Disease recurrence (cancer); drugs that impact on tissue repair, healing processes (hard and/or soft tissues), and blood coagulation; diseases that impact on tissue repair, healing processes (hard and/or soft tissues), and blood coagulation; tobacco use; radiotherapy for head and neck cancer more than once.
