- •Group A (Non-obese patients)
- •1)BMI ââ?°Â¤ 25 kg/m2 (National health portal of India)
- •2)Generalized chronic periodontitis (ââ?°Â¥30% sites) patients exhibiting mild clinical attachment loss of 1-2mm
- •3)Patients exhibiting pocket depth of 4-6mm
- •4)Age between 40 and 60 years.
- •5)Patients willing to participate in the study and maintain regular appointments.
- •Group B (Obese patients)
- •1)BMI ââ?°Â¥ 25kg/m2 (National health portal of India)

- •1)History of oral prophylaxis in past 3 months
- •2)Patient taking antibiotics.
- •3)Pregnant and lactating mothers.
- •4)Patients using any form of tobacco
- •5)Patients with history of systemic disease.
