1. ASA grade I & II
2. Age group of 18-60 years
3. Body Mass Index- Normal (18.5 to 24.9)
4. Elective surgical procedure under general anaesthesia who is fit in pre-operative check-up
5.Elective Surgical Procedure duration >30mins
6.Max 3 attempts at intubation
1)Patients having the following predictors of difficult intubation-[19]
oPatient with upper incisors and / or prominent overbite
oInter-Incisor distance < 3 finger breadths
oMandibular floor distance <3 finger breadths
oThyromental distance < 2 finger breadths
oMallampati score >2
oHighly arched palate
oLarge, thick tongue
oShort, thick neck
oPatient unable to touch chin to chest / extend head
2)Patients having uncontrolled Cardiovascular, Renal or Respiratory co-morbidities
3)Past History of Difficult Intubation.
4) Patients who do not give consent
5) Patients who do not undergo laparoscopic surgeries
