Inclusion Criteria

PPROM between GA 24 to 33 weeks 6 days

Exclusion Criteria

uncertain gestational age
multifetal pregnancies
previous cervical surgery
abnormal fetal chromosome or fetal malformation
the presence of therapy with progesterone
the presence of antibiotics therapy for prolonging latency period
history of allergy to Penicillin, Erythromycin or Clindamycin
the presence of evidence of intraamniotic infection or fetal distress
active labor
