Inclusion Criteria
Individuals of both sexes; be over 18 years of age; present lymphedema in lower limbs in stages II or III according to Mowlen (1948)
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with lymphedema undergoing treatment with chronic use of oral anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids; with active and untreated infectious processes during study recruitment; who had thrombophlebitis; diabetes; skin rashes; open wounds; urinary and/or fecal incontinence and contraindications for manual lymphatic drainage and for compressive bandaging
