Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Age 18\-65 years
  • •2\. Both genders
  • •3\. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Grading, I\-II
  • •4\.Elective head, neck, face, middle ear, spine and neurosurgeries

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. \< 18 and \>65 years
  • •2\.Non\-consenting as well as pregnant patients
  • •3\.Patients with uncontrolled co\-existing systemic or metabolic diseases
  • •4\.History of alcohol or substance abuse or psychiatric illness
  • •5\.Known sensitivity to dexmedetomidine
  • •6\.BMI \>30 kg/m2
