研究概览

简要总结

Central venous cannulationis a part of essential care in critically ill patients. Ultrasound guidedcannulation is now the recommended practise in central venous cannulation. Butintroducer needle tip is not well visible during real time ultrasound. Thisleads to insertion difficulties, incorrect estimation and increase incomplications like arterial puncture and pneumothorax. This study was designedto evaluate whether real-time ultrasound-guided central vein cannulation with amarked introducer needle is superior to the unmarked introducer needle.
