INCLUSION CRITERIA:
1.Patients with newly diagnosed thyroid disorders in the age group of 18-59 years of both genders will be included.
2.Those who have normal T3, T4, TSH will be categorized as euthyroid.
Subclinical hypothyroidism â?? High TSH with normal T3, T4 levels.
Overt hypothyroidism - High TSH with Low T3, T4 levels.
1.Patients with chronic renal failure.
2.Patients with diabetes and hypertension.
3.Patients who are taking diuretics.
4.Patients who have prior treatment for hypothyroidism (hormone replacement therapy and radioactive iodine intake).
5.Patients with gout or taking uricosuric drugs like allopurinol and febuxostat.
6.Patient with muscular disorders and malignancies.
7.Pregnancy, lactating mothers.
8.Patients with liver disorders, cardiovascular disease, bone disorders,
