Assessment of knowledge of healthcare professionals of diabetes mellitus technology (continuous glucose monitoring systems and insulin pump therapy). The study is a cross-sectional, quantitative study at a tertiary university hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece
详细描述
Data will be collected using a standardized questionnaire. This questionnaire is based on a review of the relevant literature on diabetes management and related technologies. The final instrument consists of 37 closed-ended items. It was organized into four main sections, covering demographic characteristics, knowledge of diabetes mellitus, knowledge of insulin therapy and insulin pump use, and knowledge of CGM systems. Demographics will be also collected along with diabetes knowledge questions and 2 sections (1 for insulin pumps and 1 for continuous glucose monitoring).

- •All qualified and registered HCP practicing at the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki "AHEPA" , who were involved in direct patient care.
- •Actively working during the data collection period.
排除标准
- •Administrative staff and personnel not directly involved in patient care.
- •HCP who declined to participate.
- •Participants who did not complete the questionnaire in full.

时间窗: Through study completion, an average of 1 year and 3 months
Questions on diabetes types, diagnostic criteria, risk factors for hypo- and hyperglycemia, symptom recognition, and glycemic targets.
