Brief Summary

Emotional Freedom Techniques tapping is a used to reduce the anxieties of women before surgery of the sensitive  genito urinary tract. Anxiety will be checked with Hamilton’s anxiety rating scale and the severity of the symptoms will be assessed .Immediate  intervention will be given for   reduction of anxiety and improvement of surgical nursing outcome.

Inclusion Criteria
  • 1.Women undergoing obstetrics and gynecological surgeries under spinal and general anesthesia.
  • 2.Women with moderate to severe pre-interventional anxiety.
Exclusion Criteria

1.Women with mild anxiety 2.Women practicing alternate relaxation therapies 3.Women on regular anxiolytic drugs.
