- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method - Evaluation of renal damage biomarkers concerning their potential to predict a severe disease course during Hantavirus-associated acute kidney injury (AKI). (Measurement 0h/d0 [t0], 24h/d1 [t1], 48h/d2 [t2] and every other day until discharge)
- Differentiation of the biomarkers and evaluation of their correlation with laboratory values and cellular substructures. (Measurement 0h/d0 [t0], 24h/d1 [t1], 48h/d2 [t2] and every other day until discharge)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method - Comparison of biomarkers with already established, intrinsic markers of renal function and evaluation of their correlation with length of inpatient stay and need for renal replacement therapy. (Measurement 0h/d0 [t0], 24h/d1 [t1], 48h/d2 [t2] and every other day until discharge)
- Analysis of potential (clinical) risk factors predisposing for a Hantavirus infection and severe disease courses.
- Analysis of different RNA-/DNA-expression patterns/methylation patterns in urine and blood and their correlation with AKI course, multifactorial AKI and hanta virus pathogenesis. (Measurement 0h/d0 [t0], 24h/d1 [t1], 48h/d2 [t2] and every other day until discharge)
