Inclusion Criteria
Over 17 years old patients who visit emergency room for the symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding and need upper gastrointestinal endoscopic examination
Exclusion Criteria
patients who cannot undergo upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
patients who cannot take the nasogastric tube insertion
patients who refuse to give the consent of the study
