Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Patients undergoing the surgical procedure are expected to have lower postoperative morbidity when using the preemptive analgesia protocol with regard to edema, mouth opening limitation and pain. We will see if there was a limitation of mouth opening or increased edema over a period of 7 days and in case of pain if there was a lower analgesic intake compared to when the preemptive analgesia protocol was not used
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The patients submitted to the preemptive analgesia protocol are expected to have a faster return to their daily activities, faster recovery and lower medication intake observed by the amount of edema, mouth opening limitation and pain, by the methods of measurement and evaluation of the amount of analgesic ingested, respectively. We will then check for a better prognosis
