Adult patients with established type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to the medical unit and expected to stay in the hospital for atleast 3 days.
Adult patients without history of Diabetes but found to have CBG >200mg/dL or HbA1C >6.5% admitted to the medical unit and expected to stay in the hospital for atleast 3 days.
Age <18 years

Pregnant women
Patients on enteral feeds
Patients on corticosteroids
Patients admitted to IMCU/ICU
Patients with renal dysfuction (eGFR <30ml/min/1.73sq.m)
