Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To assess whether the retractor wire potentiates the effects of desensitizing agents, without, however, causing greater discomfort to the patient, using the Friedman tests (comparison between times) and Wilcoxon (comparison between groups), based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in pre- and post-intervention measurements.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To assess whether the use of the retractor cord promotes increased discomfort during the treatment of dentinal desensitization and injury to periodontal tissue.
