Inclusion Criteria
Recent abdominal pain (less than 30 days) with at least one more of the other criteria; pain in the right iliac region; pain migrating; nausea or vomiting before vomiting; psoas sign; fever; rebound tenderness (Blumberg sign); abdominal rigidity; no previous similar pain; pain to digital rectal examination; anorexia.
Exclusion Criteria
Refusal to participate in the study; have already undergone appendectomy.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Presentation of the expected outcome:<br>Quantitatively assess plasma LRG1 levels.<br>Presentation of the method used to verify the expected outcome: ELISA.<br><br>Presentation of the parameters (ng / ml) used to verify whether the outcome actually occurred:<br><br>We will quantify the plasma LRG1 concentration (in ng / ml) in patients with and without the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.<br><br>We expect to see a difference of 53 ng / ml in the group without appendicitis to 95 ng / ml for the group with appendicitis, having a 95% power and an alpha error of 1%
