- •Recent abdominal pain (less than 30 days) with at least one more of the other criteria; pain in the right iliac region; pain migrating; nausea or vomiting before vomiting; psoas sign; fever; rebound tenderness (Blumberg sign); abdominal rigidity; no previous similar pain; pain to digital rectal examination; anorexia.

- •Refusal to participate in the study; have already undergone appendectomy.
