- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Rate of methylation and expression of imprinted genes. Gene expression will be analysed using a quantitative real-time PCR method. For the methylation analysis, the DNA will be treated with bisulphite and subsequently pyrosequencing will be used to quantitatively analyse the methylation level of the regions of interest.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Correlation between methylation and expression of imprinted genes and birth weight.
