Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Have a diagnosis of COPD
- •\- Be admitted to hospital for an acute exacerbation of their COPD
- •\- Aged 40 years and older
- •\- Able to read and speak English
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Life expectancy less than 6 months
- •\- Comorbidities which preclude exercise training
- •\- Inability to follow verbal instructions, suffer from cognitive impairment, or have language difficulties
- •\- Unable to provide informed consent
