Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Initial diagnosis of untreated colon carcinoma (NOS), UICC stage I – II, R0
- •(2\) Treatment in the University Hospital Augsburg or in one of the partner hospitals
- •(3\) Availability of sufficient tumor material (paraffin block and/or fresh tissue) or sections
- •(4\) Written consent from the patient to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Neoadjuvant therapy of colon carcinoma
- •(2\) Patients unable to consent
- •(3\) Insufficient understanding of the German language
- •(4\) Patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease
- •(5\) Patients with hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes (such as Lynch syndrome, familial adenomatous polyposis)
