Inclusion Criteria
(1) Initial diagnosis of untreated colon carcinoma (NOS), UICC stage I – II, R0
(2) Treatment in the University Hospital Augsburg or in one of the partner hospitals
(3) Availability of sufficient tumor material (paraffin block and/or fresh tissue) or sections
(4) Written consent from the patient to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
(1) Neoadjuvant therapy of colon carcinoma
(2) Patients unable to consent
(3) Insufficient understanding of the German language
(4) Patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease
(5) Patients with hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes (such as Lynch syndrome, familial adenomatous polyposis)
