- •2\. 20\-35 year old
- •3\. before 20 weeks of gestation

- •2\. 20\-35 year old
- •3\. before 20 weeks of gestation.
- •4\. uncomplicated pregnancy
Exclusion Criteria

- •1\. Prior known cardiovascular disease
- •2\. Gestational and pre\-existing hypertensive disorder
- •3\. Pregnancy with malformed foetus
- •4\. Pregnancy with thyroid disorders
- •5\. Breast implants
- •6\. Multifetal pregnancy
- •7\. Known diabetic women
- •8\. Severe anemia

Study to compare maternal cardiovascular stability with different phenylephrine dosing regimens used to maintain baseline systolic blood pressure following a spinal anaesthetic for elective caesarean section. - Phenylephrine infusion study for c sectioWe are studying healthy pregnant women undergoing planned caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia. We are investigating ways of reducing hypotension due to spinal anaesthesia by comparing 3 different phenylephrine infusion regimens.
