入选标准
- •Participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus and periodontitis stages II and III, with a minimum age of 30 years and at least fourteen teeth present in the oral cavity, and who agree to participate in the research through an informed consent form will be included.
排除标准
- •The following individuals will be excluded from the study: with a history of allergy to pollen or any product of apiarian origin; carriers of diseases with changes in the immune system; smokers; pregnant and lactating women; who have undergone periodontal treatment in the last 6 months; who have undergone antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapy in the last 3 months; who use anticoagulant and platelet antiaggregant; with dental implants; with glycated hemoglobin greater than or equal to 9% and/or fasting glucose greater than or equal to 250mg/dl; who change their diabetes medication during the study period; under 30 years old.
