participants aged between 18-70 years.
partial and full thickness burns with 30%(measured by rule of 9) of total body surface area.
participants with burns injury associated with smoke and chemical fumes inhalation.
requirement of non invasive ventilation in intensive care unit(ICU).
participants with grade 0 to grade 2 on abbreviated injury score grading scale for inhalational injury.
diagnosis of pulmonary complication due to inhalation burns on fibreoptic bronchoscopy.
willingness of the participants.
Participants with neurological deficit.
Participants who could not hold breath due to vocal cord palsy.
Participants who are intubated and underwent tracheostomy.
Participants with full or virtually full-thickness involvement of at least one-half of total thorax.
Participants who are hemodynamically unstable.
participants with cognitive instability to understand the procedure.
Critically ill patient.
