This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effect of motorized retro walk training on performance parameters and heart rate recovery in competitive badminton players. Badminton requires high levels of agility, speed, endurance, power, and rapid cardiovascular recovery. Retro walking has shown benefits in improving cardiopulmonary fitness and neuromuscular performance, but its role in structured sports training remains underexplored. Forty badminton players (13–17 years) will be randomly allocated into experimental (motorized retro walk training) and control (conventional forward training) groups. Both groups will train three times per week for six weeks. Outcome measures include 20 m sprint test (speed), Pro Agility 5-10-5 test (agility), 20 m shuttle run (endurance), standing broad jump (power), 6-corner court test (functional performance), and heart rate recovery (HRR). The study aims to determine whether motorized retro walk training significantly improves performance and cardiovascular recovery compared to conventional training

  • badminton players practicing for more than a year
  • Badminton players between age of
  • 17 years.
  • both male and female.

排除标准

  • unwilling subject.
  • Players with recent musculoskeletal injuries last 6 months.
  • players with any diagnosed orthopedic or neurological disease.
  • Any surgery on lower limb or spine in last 6 months.
