Osteoarthritis is primarily disease of elderly affecting mostly the hip and knee joint. It is a degenerative disease which affects the articular cartilage in the joints gradually and eventually destroys it, leaving the affected person unable to perform the routine work. Pain is the main complain of patients to seek medical attention is pain. The pain also impacts the quality of life. The conventional approach for osteoarthritis is pain management with painkillers, pain-relieving lotions and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs), but these have a number of adverse effects, including renal failure and gastritis. homeopathic medicine is that it is having no side effects and is cost effective. There are many studies in homoeopathy which shows effectiveness homoeopathic treatment in osteoarthritis having no side effect and is cost effective. Hence, this proposed study is an attempt to study the scope of individualized homoeopathic medicine in the management of Osteoarthritis in improve quality of life and reducing symptoms intensity of OA such as the pain and improving the activity of daily.

入选标准
- •Clinically diagnosed cases having symptoms of osteoarthritis If patient was taking any acute medicine, he/she was included in the study after a washout Patients willing to give consent either by signature or thumb impressions.
排除标准
- •Patients with disability, bed- ridden patients are excluded.
- •Osteoarthritis associated with any uncontrollable chronic and systemic disease.
