Inclusion Criteria
1.Male or female >10 yrs of age
2.Intestinal obstruction cases diagnosed clinically or radiologically with the previous history of any abdominal surgical intervention.
Exclusion Criteria
1.No previous abdominal surgery
2.Early postoperative obstruction ( < 4 weeks)
3.Obstruction secondary to neoplasia (active or previous cancer of the intestinal tract)
4.Active or previous inflammatory bowel disease
5.History of previous radiotherapy or immunosuppression
6.Obstructed abdominal wall hernia
